CBSE cancels 10th Board, postpones 12th Exam

CBSE has cancelled 10th board exam for 2020-2021 session. The board will develop an objective criterion for promotion of students of class X. The criteria will be declared later. Those students who are not satisfied with the marks alloted to them according to this criteria, will be given a chance to appear in exams at a later date.

CBSE Students can now appear in improvement exam same year

There is a good news for students who are set to appear in the CBSE Class 10, Class 12 board exams 2021. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed students of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 to appear in the improvement exam in the same year. Previously, students had to wait for the next year exam if they had to appear in the improvement exam. But now Class 10 and 12 students will get to take the exam in the same academic year.
CBSE Launches Comic Books for Various Classes

CBSE has launched comic books aligned to chapters of NCERT textbooks. Minister of Education Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal NIshank launched 100+ comic books created by teachers of CBSE affiliated schools and curated by NCERT on 24th March 2021.
Education Minister Launches CBSE Assessment Framework

Education minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank launched CBSE assessment framework for subjects Science, Maths and English classes as part of CBSE competency based Education project.
Directorate of Education, NCT of Delhi launches portal for students
Directorate of Education, the government body to regulate school education system in Delhi has launched a portal for CBSE students. Here, students will be able to download syllabus, sample papers along with respective marking schemes, examination tips etc.

Delhi Schools to open from 18th January

Delhi government has decided to open the government schools from 18th January 2021. Only class 10th and 12th students will attend schools. Schools will have to follow all the corona guidelines and take written permission of parents before calling children to school. It is being felt that children are not able to prepare properly without in person guidance of teachers in school. Moreover, preparation for practicals is also due.
Delhi deputy chief minister and education minister Manish Sisodia announced this with a tweet.
